Kylie Lindsay is Head of nbn™ Local Queensland at NBN Co.

With over 15 years’ experience in media, communications, crisis management and strategy, she has worked in all levels of government with Prime Ministers, Premiers and Lord Mayors, as well as the private sector. In that time she managed high-level state based, national and international media as well as providing internal communications advice and strategic direction. An expert in crisis communications, she managed all media for the Brisbane City Council during the 2011 flood and aftermath, and played a pivotal role in running the Queensland State Government response to cyclones, floods and natural disasters for a number of years. Kylie is an accredited IAP2 practitioner (community and stakeholder engagement) with a very strong track record of delivery in both the proactive and reactive media spaces.

As a proud regional Queenslander, Kylie is passionate about bridging the divide between the city and the country, and believes the telecommunication industry has a very important role to play in achieving this. A redhead, Kylie is fun and feisty and lives in Queensland with her husband and young son, rescue mutt Rosie, an assortment of chooks and a hive of bees.
